The very first virtual edition of the SUM + Venice Symposium, organized by the IWWG – International Waste Working Group, was held entirely online from 16th to 20th November 2020. The event was attended by more than 400 participants with the presentation of 388 scientific papers, basically covering every aspects of the recovery of resources from waste, both in terms of energy and new materials.
