Description
Get full access to all final papers from the SUM 2020 – 5th Symposium on Circular Economy and Urban Mining through the online members’ area.
Despite the global disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the SUM Symposium was the only conference in its field worldwide that did not skip its 2020 edition. Originally scheduled for May, the event was successfully postponed to November and organised in a fully virtual format, thus preserving the continuity of the symposium series. The joint organisation with the Venice Symposium generated valuable synergies and stimulating discussions across key topics such as urban mining, circular economy and waste-to-energy.
The first virtual joint edition of the SUM + Venice Symposia, was held entirely online from 16 to 20 November 2020. The event brought together more than 400 participants and featured the presentation of 388 scientific papers, covering every aspect of resource recovery from waste, both in terms of energy generation and the production of new materials.
All papers are fully searchable by author, title and keywords, and each PDF can be instantly downloaded for offline use. Whether for research, reference or professional development, this collection brings the latest insights from leading experts in circular economy and urban mining directly to your fingertips.
